SLR Roofing Systems' Rondi Perry elected to board
Rondi Perry, co-owner of SLR Roofing Systems has been elected to the Board of Directors of the National Roofing Contractors Association. The election, which is for a three-year term was effective June 1, 2007. "I am extremely honored to serve on this board," said Mr. Perry. "The NRCA was established in 1886 and is one of the construction industry's oldest trade associations. It truly is the voice of professional roofing contractors worldwide."

Mike Arnold Joins SLR Roofing Systems
SLR Roofing Systems, Inc. announces that Michael Arnold has joined the company as a Project Manager. Mr. Arnold is a Fort Worth native and a graduate of Arlington Heights High School. After attending Tarrant County College, Mike was employed by Union Pacific Railroad for eleven years. Mike’s duties at SLR include primary client contact, on-sitesupervision, project estimating, safety and quality control.

SLR Roofing Systems awarded Lamar High roofing contract
SLR Roofing Systems, Inc. has been awarded a contract for roof replacement at Lamar High School in Arlington Texas. The 220,000 sq. foot roof was damaged during a hail storm last spring. The contract is valued at over $1,700,000 and the work will take more than six months to complete. The existing single ply roof system will be replaced with a more durable and hail resistant asphalt built-up roof system. The project will utilize more than fifty semi truck loads of roofing materials.

"The logistics of working on a large occupied school is a challenge for any roofing contractor but SLRís extensive background and experience in working on such projects is one of the reasons that we were chosen for the job" said Rondi Perry of SLR.

Bob Allen Joins SLR Roofing Systems
SLR Roofing Systems, Inc. announces that Bob Allen has joined the company as Project Estimator/Manager. Mr. Allen has more than 25 years of experience with estimating and project management in the commercial construction industry in the San Francisco Bay area. Previously, Bob was Project Estimator/Manager for Floor Seal Technology and prior to that owned Preferred Coverings, a commercial flooring and window covering company in San Jose.
